And What to Expect

Appointments

Appointments are usually scheduled on the hour and last fifty minutes. Counseling is a time sensitive activity and your appointment is reserved specifically for you. If you must cancel an appointment or reschedule, please call 24 hours before the appointment time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged one-half your regular fee. If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without notifying us ahead of time, you will be held responsible for the full fee of the missed appointment.

Length and Termination of Counseling Sessions

The number of counseling sessions may vary depending on the type and severity of problems. Your counselor will take into account individual factors and discuss a time frame that meets your needs. Because of the importance of the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor, we encourage you to talk to your counselor if you are considering leaving counseling. The counseling process involves a growth experience. Therefore, terminating the relationship is part of that growth experience.

Fees and Payment

Your fee is based on the number of individuals participating in the counseling session. Payment is expected at the time of treatment. We accept payment by cash or check. Please check with your counselor about payment by credit card. If you have concerns regarding your payment, this may be discussed with your counselor.

TIC fees range from $100 - $150 USD per 50-minute session.
