A thirty-year military veteran and current Army reservist, Raschunda holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from the Amberton University and a Bachelors Degree in Human Relations & Business from Amberton University. She is practicing as Licensed Professional Counsel.
Her experience and training includes specialty areas addiction, anxiety or fears, anger management, chemical dependence/abuse, depression, domestic abuse/violence, chronic pain, depression, divorce, grief or loss, personal growth, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress management and trauma.
As a caring and concerned counselor, Raschunda has touched the lives of thousands of people. Her philosophy is treating everyone with dignity and respect regardless of their socioeconomic status or background.
She is the mother of two children and a beloved dog. Through her own experiences as an impoverished child, witnessed abuse as a child, abused as a child (physically, emotionally, verbally and sexually), suicidal parent, abandoned father, single parent, divorcee and unemployment she was called to be a counselor. All of her life experiences have motivated her passion to serve others who are or have experienced a similar journey.
Raschunda's nonjudgmental approach is to help her clients to confront irrational thought patterns while respecting the unique complexity and potential of every individual. She strives to build an environment of compassion, empathy and understanding that best positions each of his clients to build on their strengths and attain personal growth and progress towards their goals.
Raschunda is a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and the Executive Officer in her unit. She is known for her cognitive behavior theoretical approach, discipline, decisiveness yet unconditional positive regard. She facilitates a year-round divergent truancy program for the City of Plano teens.
She has held various positions for Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Red Cross, Dallas Independent School District and Dallas County.

My utmost desire is for people to know who they are from the inside out and to use that knowledge to create the life they desire and deserve. My personal mission is to strengthen the community through individual empowerment and the growth of healthy families and relationships.
